While cover letters are not always required, it’s important to have one ready in case an employer asks for it. If you encounter writer's block, many of the resume tools listed above include cover letter generators to help you get started. Do not use the AI-generated letters, though; always remember to personalise your cover letter for the specific position you're applying to. For assistance with this, follow The New School's Cover Letter Guide, which will help you highlight your most relevant and impactful qualifications.
